2. What Banks Require
Regardless of each case, the following three documents are necessary for processing. Additional required documentation is subject to change with each case.
- Steady employment income (from one or both applicants)
- Payslips and employment contracts
- Tax returns from your home country (or other country)
3. Mortgage Basics
- Expect to put down at least 20% of the home’s price
- Mortgage terms up to 40 years (depending on age and bank of choice)
